Crazy Horse Paris, the Parisian cabaret known for its nude stage shows, has tapped French shoe designer Christian Louboutin as its first ‘Guest Creator’ in its history.
For Louboutin, this legendary cabaret haunt is, “an iconic Paris monument, a monument to dance, a fantastic, modern idea of the celebration of Women for Women.”
Louboutin will be directing four original and unique tableaux, inspired by wide-ranging musings from art pieces to hip hop, all of which shed light on femininity in all its forms. Working with an eclectic teams of artists ranging from visual filmmaker David Lynch and rapper/producer Swizz Beatz for the music compositions, to Patricia Folly, a Crazy Horse dancer, who assisted with the shows’s choreography.
“Because of what I do, for these numbers I concentrated on the lower half of the body more than the top,” Louboutin stated. “The language of legs can express any and every feeling, and without giving too much away, the body becomes the Flame.”
The poster image, which was shot by Egyptian photographer Youssef Nabil, features Christian Louboutin himself in white-collar shirt, printed vest, bow-tie, and top hat. He is nestled in between two gorgeous, and very much naked, Crazy Horse dancers, whose straddled legs are decked in his signature red-sole designs.

The collaboration will preview on Sunday, March 4th 2012 and will remain in the repertoire until May 31st, 2012.
