Stella McCartney’s A/W 2011 collection was tres chic in her signature minimal, yet beautiful designs. Every ensemble was polished polished to perfection, from the shimmering garb to hair and makeup. For me, the pieces which stood out the most were the shining gold designs. Evoking a feeling of power and glamor, I couldn’t help but imagine “Golden Slumbers” by The Beatles playing in the back round . While some of the silhouettes would be difficult to pull off, and may be guilty of being a little bit man-repellantesque, I still enjoyed them a lot. The polka-dot details and embellishments also made for beautiful adornments at the end of the collection. Over all, I thought Stella presented a strikingly gorgeous and dynamic collection.
