Following The Blonds show, I had the pleasure of attending the Paper Magazine and Tumblr end-of-fashion-week celebration on the rooftop of the Empire Hotel. If case you hadn’t heard, Tumblr chose 24 of their own bloggers to get exclusive fashion week access and they were all in attendance among the eclectic crowd.
An awesome way for everyone to celebrate surviving a long and bustling fashion week, energy and spirits were high. Delectable fried mac and cheese balls and mini hamburgers were passed around and Svedka cocktails flooded out of the open bar.
I was ecstatic to discover upon arrival that DJ Mia Moretti would be providing the tunes for the party. I was even more excited when I saw Caitlin Moe by her side. In case you haven’t been paying close attention to the New York party circuit over the past few years, their performances are in very high demand. Moretti’s awesome mix of electronic and classics alongside violin accompaniment from Moe made for a spectacular recital of musical bliss. I got to meet them very briefly at the end of their set, and they couldn’t have been cooler!
