Paying homage to the mod style of the 60′s, She and Him’s new video for “Don’t Look Back” satisfies both my fashion and music fixation. Zooey Deschanel and M.Ward, outfitted in some amazing vintage clothes, live in a retro world and breakout into numerous dance numbers.
The singer/actress was definitely influenced by her own personal style for the video with 60′s style clothing. I loved the Courreges navy and creme wool dress she wears casually throughout the video. Alhough my favorite outfit was definitely the the billowy striped dress, which she accessorized with a flower print apron, as she grilled sausages in the backyard. She totally gives off that offbeat 60′s homemaker vibe.
The home decor was also a very important part of the video. The mod furnishings perfectly complemented the vintage fashion.
The video was directed by Jeremy Konner and the wonderful dancing was choreographed by Sophie Olsen.
